Man, I Feel Like a Time Lady

Man,-I-feel-like-a-Time-Lady

The Doctor. The Doctors. One Time Lord. Five men. One woman. And who knows how many more lie in wait? With all those incarnations, you’re bound to bump into yourself once in a while, and it’s not likely you’ll be getting along with yourself.

The Quintessential Doctor has confessed her identity to Fruit Pastel. How will the others face up to the news?

    1. The inclusion of the other Doctors was a great touch too. An unexpected surprise. What a way to bow out of 2015!

  1. An excellent story that shows a more vulnerable side to Dynamite as well as working pretty well as a meta-narrative on some of the more, erm, interesting fan perspectives on a female Doctor. Christie is probably at her most entertaining and Quincy is probably at her most Docterish so far. Just two criticisms:
    1. The ending felt a bit rushed. It feels like Dynamite goes from terrified to accepting just a bit too quickly.
    2. I still don’t know who Harry Stapelton ‘is’ exactly. I suppose I should wait until I see him in an adventure with just Quincy and in the interest of fairness none of the AW companions has particularly brilliant characterisations or development. If I had to guess I suppose he’s a bit like David only stupider which would work for the type of Doctor Quincy is. But at the moment I’m not convinced.
But this is still a brilliant story that reignited my love for Aimless after kind of losing interest for a couple of releases.

  2. One word, said like it’s three:

    DY-NA-MITE!

Laughed so much! Defiantly the best of “The Greatest Of Friends” and one of the best of 2015, and what a way to end it to! I wouldn’t be surprised if this was one of the top three stories of the year in the poll next month (there’s a poll to see what we think is the best episode of 2015 next month, right?) . 10/10.

I loved that first half! Laughed a lot!

Rated PG: Contains Mild sexual references and infrequent rude humor. PARENTAL GUIDANCE: General viewing, but some scenes may be unsuitable for young children.
